Hello Forum ,
My spouse and I filled for a Chapt 13 & had our first payment was May 2013 after three months of payments I was let go and became unemployed. Our income significally dropped , and we talked it over with our attorney. At first she was going to ask for our payments to decrease due to our monthly incoming decreasing , and after calculating numbers she decided we should be converted to a chapter 7. It has now been over six weeks , and we have no idea if our Chapter 7 was granted. If anyone knows how long it takes in the state of California for a Chapter 13 to be convert to a Chapter 7 please feel free to comment .
