Yeah it is, the irony for me is I also have to rebuild life as a whole not jus my credit so that makes it even more tempting to get some usable credit.  Still need to actually get a bed to sleep in lol

If you want a brand new mattress and frame, you can get one from Mattress Firm (pillows, too). It is not a hard pull and if you pay it off in 90 days, there's no interest. Sears also has a similar leasing plan but the terms did not seem good to me so I went with Mattress Firm. I bought 2 queen matresses last year for about $800 and paid them off in 3 months.

Re: Bankruptcy Friendly Credit Cards Pt.2

Yeah they use Progressive for their no credit check and thanks to my last abusive relationship, I can't use them right now b/c they were included in my bankruptcy.

Oh, okay. Try Sears and check out your local buy here, pay here furniture stores. Also, fb marketplace seems to have sellers that have new matresses for less than retail. Maybe they fell off a truck ? Smiley Very Happy

Thanks Coneyj123 Smiley Happy  I was sooooo happy to be back in and now I cant wait to request a CLI because the limit stinks!  So far I have been horrible about this garden thing... just restarted as a seedling this past weekend (as if I had nothing better to do than apply for a credit card... Smiley Indifferent)  the hit didn't show until today so I'll just use todays date as my new gardening date and head back in.

No go with Overstock's shopping cart trick? I bought a mattress from them and got a year to pay for it. I've had it for over a year now and still LOVE it and a king sized mattress for a little over $500 was too good to pass up.

Re: Bankruptcy Friendly Credit Cards Pt.2

I know Comenity has/is BK friendly, and up until this month like clockwork I was able to get a CLI every month. However this month it stopped. I got a denial from them stating they weren't increasing my cards due to no mortgage history/payments on my credit, and a BK being listed. I think this is weird cuz for a year and a half no issues, until now. Anyone else had this?

If I may ask, at what limit did they start rejecting based on not having a mortgage?  For my overstock, I couldn't get a cli to save my life for the first 6mo then all of a sudden got a CLI from 250 to 1850 about 30 days ago.

Re: Bankruptcy Friendly Credit Cards Pt.2

HoneyRock, you must have a true love for BofA. No card is worth that much effort to me, maybe because there are so many other cards out there with as good or better benefits that don’t involve that much hassle. You are a real trooper.
