Bucketing is a very hard thing to figure out. Not sure if you have read through this thread , but I will leave it here for you. Great info

Thanks for the link. I did read that thread.
I'm really interested in anecdotal information as it relates to the guestimated score ceilings for the dirty buckets as discussed in the 5th post by Thomas_Thumb in this thread.

The screen shot in the top post here is also really interesting to me.
Right there with you! I find this topic extremely interesting and have done some reading on it before.. I just think there is far too many moving parts to a credit profile to really track down the bucketing.
Now, do I think a BK stops affecting your score after 2 years? Absolutely not.. We can see this when a BK drops off after 10 years and the person receives a hefty score bump. My current EX score is the highest I've ever had, but I don't have any IIB accounts anymore.

Yeah. I read that about public records, but it didn't make sense. Someone's speculations, I guess.
The scoring forum is so fascinating. I've just discovered it, and I'm totally immersed. The most interesting thing I learned today is that installment balances don't affect your mortgage FICO scores the way they affect your FICO 08s. Since I have high balances on co-signed student loans currently in deferment as well as my one reaffirmed mortgage, I'm thinking my mortgage scores have to be higher than the scores I've got right now. I will pull a complete report off My FICO once I hit 24 months. I'm thinking I want to wait another two years for a conventional loan, but it really will depend on my partner's employment, market values, and the equity in my condo.
