Ch 13 from 2008 still showing on my CRs but due to come off in 2015.  I do not have my FICOs.  I have had a FirstP (starter) for 13 months perfect history.  I have all of my student loans with positive history.  I recently was approved for Cap one QS and VS.  I have never had a Discover card.  My util is 10%.

To me, sounds like you would be approved. The new accounts might shy them off though. 2015 is so close that I would just wait it out probably. Waiting could only get you better approval terms.

Makes me wonder if I'd get approved...

Re: Bankruptcy friendly credit cards

I applied for Discover IT about 4 months ago, called for consideration right away and was approved for different terms than the original offer.

My CL is only 1K and my other cards are 5K plus each. This was almost 7 years post Ch 7 BK and I burned Discover (it had already been deleted off my credit report).  My credit score was 700 with 4 inquiries at that time, one 30 day late from 5 years ago and 18 yrs of history.

Depending on your credit history, it looks as if there is a good chance for you to be approved!

Re: Bankruptcy friendly credit cards

Good information. I burned Discover for approximately $7K in my Chapter 7 BK. All the included in BK accounts will fall off in 2015 except for my mortgage account. Not sure that I will apply for a Discover so soon after the negative accounts fall off or after my August 2013 Chapter 7 discharge. I've been cautious/conservative in applying for new credit and haven't been denied credit since my discharge. I'll likely stay in the garden for 2015 and allow my current credit cards credit limits to increase further before applying for more cards.

Re: Bankruptcy friendly credit cards

I just checked my Credit Reports and they are now showing $0 Balance on all. My credit score actually when up. I am currently at Experian :629, Transunion:637 and Equifax: 520.

Why is my Equifax so low?? and I applied With Capital One and they Denied me?? AM i Doing something wrong?? Where should i Start?? I have a Care credit card that is on my credit and a Target Credit card. I had my Mom add me to her accounts and piggyback for the score. She has them at 4% usage.

You likely aren't doing anything wrong. It's hard to say why some get cards and others don't. I'm 14 mos post Discharge and still can't gtet a Cap One card. I won't even try any6 longer. My advice, if you haven't done so already, join a local credit union and ask them for a visa/mastercard.
