Re: Bankruptcy friendly credit cards

From what I've read on here and credit boards is that its definitely possible, but there's always the kicker "YMMV".

Re: Bankruptcy friendly credit cards

Me and my wife filed 7 in July 2012 and we were discharged Nov 2012.  Since coming out she's managed to pick up a Cap1 Card and a Bill Me Later account as well.  I'm an AU on her Cap1 card.  I've picked up a First Premier(only company that would take me) and plan on using it monthly for bills and then paying it off to show history.  Hopefully I can get a Barclays Apple in the next 6 months.

Any approvals out there lately? Been quiet! I am in the garden but would love to hear about other people getting approved!

nothing at all.....since my ch 7 dischange on 10/31/12 - I've got a secured card through my local CU for $500 in december of '12 - obtained a car loan for $15k through Wells Fargo last month and have been doing the 'pre-qual' page on Capital One hoping - but no dice at all.

I am hoping that once the car loan hits - most likely in March/April and more months with the secured card which I only car a $2 balance on all reporting - Cap One looks at me more favorably.  I'm not so convinced though....might be a loooong journey for me.  I may look at the Barclay card after a year if nothing else pops up.

5/12- Equifax FICO -508 / TransUnion FICO -490 / Experian FAKO -550
Ch. 7 BK - 7/12 (discharge 10/12)
5/13 - EQ FICO 640 / TransUnion FICO - 624

CU Sec. - $500 / Cap 1 Sec. $200

I have the cards in my signature.  I've had the Barclay's rewards MC since April 2012.  Anyone have suggestions about what card I should try for next, if any?  Or just keep what I have for now.  Thanks for any feedback!!
