Bankruptcy

I have been bothered by creditor calls since i turned 18 when i first got approved for a credit card. I have decided that Chapter 7 bankruptcy would be a good choice for me. I met with the attorney today to get the process started. I was wondering, after my chapter 7 bankruptcy discharge, what is the safe and good way to make your credit go up to 700-800? How long does it take for the debt to roll off of my credit report? I am new to this whole bankruptcy thing, so i'm trying to understand it.

Re: Bankruptcy

If you follow this guide:

http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Bankruptcy/HOW-TO-From-BK7-discharge-to-700-in-24-months-or-less/td-...

24 mo to a 700.

800+ = 10+ years of PERFECT credit post the BK.
