Hi!
My Chp 7 was apparently discharged. I received a form from the court stating the discharge was ordered but it didn't give any details- I am not sure if that's all I will ever receive or if more detailed paperwork follows. I surrendered deeded property to the trustee but the discharge form says nothing regarding it. I have been told by others that if the trustee decides to abandon the property- I will get a bill in January. I was thinking about going onto PACER and buying my case to get more info but wondered if anyone here had some insight. My attorney turned out to be a bk mill type so we never even met and he got irritated when I called him out on his special $99 deal he had for the mandatory class. I did not think that was right since all classes I found were either free due to income or under $50 so he is no help.
Thanks
That Discharge order is all you get, and it's almost as important as your Birth Certificate and Social Security Card so keep it secure.
Given what you say about the relationship with your attorney I suspect you need Pacer. I haven't used Pacer so can't comment further.
Thanks- I feel better knowing that. My biggest concern is getting back the deeded property! If I find out early if the trustee is going to abandon it then I can give it away before more fees occur. I think I will do the PACER thing and maybe try to the trustee if that doesn't work.
Thanks again!
