Capital One Credit Steps CLI

I opened a Quicksilver One card with a $500.00 limit and a Capital One Platinum with a limit of $300.00 around April which is also enrolled in the Credit Steps program. I have made my first 5 payments on time, now I am just waiting for my CLI. Does anyone know if I have to wait for my 6th statement to cut for me to receive the increase?

It should happen when the sixth statement cuts. Don't expect much of a CLI, and, plan on this being the only one you get, but, yeah.

Our first CLI post-BK was only $250 (on our first Cap1 card). I request a CLI every 6 months noe and each increase has been larger than the previous one... the 2nd Cap1 got a very large credit step CLI, but we'd had the first card for over a year by then.

I went from $750 to $2,000 if I remember correctly. If you feel like you didn't get enough based off your usage just email the executive office Smiley Happy

Thank you for this information.  My statement cuts on 10/11/2014 so I should be looking forward to an increase within the next few days.

Cap One isn't very giving when it comes to CLI but with a little effort they can come through.

 

My Plat card stated at $1000... got credit steps CLI to $1500 at 6 months... converted to QS... then messaged EO on Facebook at 12 months for another CLI to $2000.

 

My QS card (yes I have 2) started at $500... got credit steps CLI to $750 at 6 months... then hit the luv button at 12 months and it asked me what I requested and I said $2000 and got it... new CL $2750.  Next time I'll ask for more.

My card received the cli right befor my 6th statement cut, $2000 cli, i was shocked to say the least
