Hello all,
I want to thank everyone for posting about their experiences. This site has help me is so many ways. The issue I am having is trying to figure out what is going on with my case. I thought my last payment in Nov. 01 was my last payment but I have not receive anything from the Trustee or my Atty about stop sending payments. The total plan base was paid/completed with the November's payment. Every payment that I send in now is an over payment in my plan. My atty's paralegal doesn't seem like she knows what is going on. I asked her to email the Trustee to get a total amount owe but I never heard back from her... Originally, I was told by my atty that my BK would be for 36 months but it looks like I will go in to the new year with this still hanging over my head. Do anyone know what is going on or have any suggestion? Also, my first payment was 12/05/2012.... Thanks!

First I want to say congrats to you for getting to this point. I have said it before, I have major respect for those of you who have endured a Ch13. From what I remember, any overpayments will be returned to you. I know it is probably a pain to keep paying, but I would until the Trustee says stop. With the holidays, there may be some delay. Hopefully you will hear something soon, then it is on to rebuilding. Good luck to you!
Congrats on making it through the payments and getting there. I'm in pretty much the same boat. My last payment was last month and I had my payments autodrafted from my checking account so I'm waiting to see if they will pull the money out again this month. The only thing I've gotten was a letter from the Clerk stating they would be doing a final review a week after my last payment.
Congrats on making it. I just stopped paying at the end of my 5 years. It took a while for mine to finally discharge.
Check the www.ndc.org website to see if it says your payments and complete and case closed.
