Chapter 13 or PFD? Help!

So I was all excited because I was finally going to start working on my credit report starting with disputes to the credit bureau since I found plenty of mistakes and accounts I've never heard of. Next I was going to do pay for deletes. I have a lot of medical. Out of 22 negative accounts, 18 of them are medical. Most are third party collection agencys. I was starting to get excited when I realized this was possible for me,my husband just got a raise and he will have a bunch of overtime on his check. So all together on my credit report I owe about $10,000.00. I figured I could settle with most of them. But now all of a sudden I start getting more bills! I thought I had time before they threatened to report. One is for $2,000 to a dentist from my daughter having oral surgery last year. I was going to set up payment arrangements before it went to collection,I waited too long! 2 days later I get something from my college saying I owe $600.00 from a pell grant and I didn't complete a class so now I have to pay it back, this also came from a collection agency. And now to top everything off I got a DMV letter saying I needed to provide proof of insurance from February till now. Called the insurance company, they said they tried to pull payment in February and I didn't have the funds so they stopped and cancelled my policy! Nevada is strict on their insurance fines, now I have to pay $750. I'm now considering chapter 13. We voluntarily dismissed our 7 back in February when my husband was told he was getting a promotion in May making $7.00 more an hour. We just wanted to pay our debts back that we rightfully owed, chapter 7 was a last resort. And now we won't pass the means test,we didn't pass it last time but had enough expenses to cover but barely! What should I do?!? I don't want anything else going on our credit reports! theres no way I can pay everything at once. Should I do a chapter 13? I'm being threatened by two collection companies of being sued!

Re: Chapter 13 or PFD? Help!

I would say Ch 13 is a great option... And stress reducer.

Rebuilding is easier than a Ch 7 too.
