Pizza, if an account was charged off prior to filing BK it won't be listed as IIB. It'll still be shown as a CO but with a $0 balance. The good news is that if an account is charged off prior to filing, it'll drop off before the 7 year post filing date 😀

youre are correct. It would still be listed as CO, but $0 bal. Just like any lates prior to BK filing would be correct reporting as well.  I had several accts that were in CO status before my filing, but once I filed and was discharged, they updated the accts to $0 bal/IIB, and removed the CO comment to "Discharged in Bankruptcy".

Some lenders will do it, some wont, and those still always go off of DOFD, so youre correct with that too....those accts will fall off at 7 yrs from DOFD Smiley Happy  I have 6 falling off late 2018 to early 2019 myself.
