Good Afternoon All...

I'm curious to know, how much did it cost you to file a Chapter 7?  Was all of the money due upfront before they filed your case?

Ours was $2356. We had to pay $1656 up front with the rest ($700) due at the 341 meeting.

It was over $1,000 and we were able to pay it in four installments over four months.  After the first installement, we officially "retained" him, and we were able to direct all collection calls to him at that point.  They would not file my case until the entire fee was paid in full.

Right around $3k. I paid in installments but they typically won't file until you're paid in full. You're otherwise no longer obligated to the debt once you're filed

I paid 1250, I paid it all on the same day.  I wanted to get the ball rolling.

I paid $1,300 and it had to be paid up front.

I paid 1800 and was allowed to pay in monthly installments of 250 per month. No down payment.

Ours was $1295 I think. $500 due up front and the rest in payments.

Mine was 1800 , paid $0 up front. And split to to 6 months , each month $300 automatic payment.

I paid $2,500 upfront when I submitted the paperwork.
