Anyone? I know someone out there has to know something.
Luvmeirahbug, I don't know as I filed Chapter 7. It sounds to me they simply review the balances to make sure of exactly what is left to pay off. It looks to me there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel. Let me know how it goes.
The reply earlier is correct, I was recently discharged, I paid off a year earlier, the trustee gave me 30 day payoff quOte. My attorney called me approx three weeks after I mailed in money. I even got a check back from trustee saying I over paid

Where do you stand right now? (score, any CC's?) What is your focus (i.e., higher score, new credit, house, etc.)? Do you know what your trustee allows you to do?
Have 3 more payments of 60 month chpt 13 BK, FICO (Walmart) 640, started working on getting a motrgage. Just interested in how the discharge works fo chpt 13
*Update* I heard from my lawyer. I'm not sure if this is a YMMV situation or not. I was told that the process will go as follows for me--
Trustee's office will audit the case, contact creditors to make sure the balances paid match trustee records. Lastly, they would send some paperwork to my lawyer's office for me to sign. Lawyer sends these documents back to the trustee and discharge papers would be finalized. Process should be finished by next month.
