Credit Score Increase after filing?

Hi All - 

I filed my BK7 on 12/24 (341 is next Thursday!) and since filing, my score has jumped from 543 to 628. Is that normal? My score is at the second highest it has been in the last year...

Up until my decision to file in October 2014, I had no late payments on my credit history. Per my lawyer's instructions, I stopped paying after our first meeting (October 14), but all of my accounts show no missed payments except 2, which show 1 missed payment.

Don't know about my actual score. But my FAKO from Credit Karma went from 575 to 670 after I filed. 

I assume it has to do with the fact that the second highest component of the credit score is the amount owed, and my amount owed got reduced by over $50k.

my score also increased after filing when a few of my accounts started reporting as 0 balance IIB. although my scores only went up 55 points
