Discharge, and starting to rebuild

My Ch 7 Bankruptcy got discharged this past Monday. I got a vehicle, as mine hasn't worked for months, with a $14,000 loan at 21%. A day later I went on Capital One's site to see if I would get a prequalification. None showed, but I applied anyway, and got a $300 limit (can't remember which card, but one for "average credit" with no fee I think). It's a start at least.

My scores a month or two after I filed BK: Eq 503, TU 475, and Ex 533. Now they are: Eq 597, TU 535, and Ex 576.

Before my discharge, I got 3 secured cards to help my credit, as I knew I needed to get a car. I am going to garden for a year or so and see how things go.

Looks like you are doing a great job so far! You have a PLAN which is amazing and helps keep you on track. You may want to check the Cap1 auto pre-qual too. Keep up the good work!
