Discharged 6/10 and my TransUnion went up twice ?!?!?

Got the Credit Karma email yesterday that my report changed. TransUnion/Equifax were 571/589. Changed to 614/589. Got another email this morning. Just checked again. 646/589. Signed up for Experian and my fico. 647. After looking around on the reports, accounts,etc, I get to the public recored tab. Although I haven't received any papers yet, all three show Chapter 7 Discharged 6/10/2015. Finally !!!! Is this just a fluke that TransUnion went from 571 to 646 in the following 72 hours and the big drop should be happening shortly ?  Relieved either way. Onward and upward to a second chance...

Congrats.  I would say that this could be correct.  Since your bankruptcy was discharged, most or all of your debts were forgiven (unless you reaffirmed some) and thus your DTI decreased and credit card utilization dropped which caused your score to rise.  Happened to me as well.  Good luck on your rebuild journey.

Not to be the guy who delivers bad news.. Credit karma scores are useless unless you happen to find a lender that pulls Vantage scores. CK is good to monitor things but just ignore the scores. You can get your FICO scores here from myFICO

I got the letter yesterday confirming discharge. Am I getting any other papers or is the copy of what was filed the only other thing for my records ?
