File change of address or not

I'm getting ready to move, and also getting ready to file chapter 7 in the next few months. Should I file a change of address with post office, and/or update my address with my creditors, or leave it alone since I know I'll be filing shortly. The bills I'm still able to pay get paid through my banks billpay, so I don't have to update... just curious

Re: File change of address or not

When we moved recently, we didn't file anything with the post office because my son is a Jr and is still living in the house. Our stuff gets mixed up enough without having the post office figure out which is his mail and which is ours. We did change everything with our bank/creditors though.

If you are about to file, why are you paying any bill except for utilities or things you want to keep? Might as well stop any other kinds of payments if your BK is happening in the next couple of weeks.
