Re: HOW TO: From BK7 discharge to 700 in 24 months or less!

Question - so I've burned NFCU in my BK, however, when I spoke to the CC dept they said they would let me back in via secured card, which I'm fine with.

But my question is in the event I want to go that route, they're allowing me to reestablish my relationship... Would it be the end of the world to do that? I have the cash to front it, but this guide advises against it. Opinions? I want to rebuild my "trust" with them.

I would be worried that it wouldn't graduate to unsecured. Their secured card does not report as secured though.

The lady told me it graduates after 13 months. Even if they say "no" because they don't like my credit or whatever is up their behind after 13 months, I would close the card and take back the money.

Wow, you got a CSR that knew what they were talking about Smiley Happy On the 12th statement it can graduate. I just don't know how they look at it if you previously burned them. I would say if you have an extra $500 laying around it may be worth trying, IF you want a way back into NFCU.

If you do end up trying, please let me know what happens at month 13 Smiley Happy Could be some valuable info for the BK crowd that burned Navy
