How accounts are reporting after CH13 discharge - plz help

Hello,

I filed CH13 in June 2009 and it was discharged in Dec 2014.   I have several accounts that are reporting incorrect dates that I filed.  Things like Included in bankrupcty Nov .. 2014.  Does this mean that they are reporting that I just filed BK in Nov 2014?  For this paritcular account I know that is the last date the Trustee sent the last payment paying off that account.    Again, there are several accounts that say a totally different date then the date I filed  that says "included in bankruptcy" with an "updated 1/2015".    I know I should be making sure that they all say 0 balance owed.  A lot of these are on Experian and Equifax.

Can I get some clarity from someone.  Thanks in advance.Smiley Happy

As long as they say IIB with a $0 balance you are fine.

They should fall off your report 7 years from your filing date... if they don't, dispute them.  What does the credit report say regarding "date this item is expected to be removed?"

I filed April 2009 and mine is due to fall off April 2016...  yours June 2016.  TU will remove items up to 6 months early... EQ/EX up to 3 months early.  When you reach those dates you can ask for early deletion.

Good luck with the rebuild... any questions let me know.

Re: How accounts are reporting after CH13 discharge - plz help

First thank you so much for your response.

Yes they are due to fall off in June 2016 so I guess I am just in a waiting game. I am trying to just make sure all of it is accurate and reporting correctly now and then start to rebuild as much as I can.  I did get approved for a Discover IT card and amazingly I could not get one of those before I had hardship and had to file.

Thanks again and I am sure I will have more questions Smiley Happy
