I've never opened the box that my attorney gave me after my BK was discharged. It's about 6-8" tall and full. I just have it marked and set aside. The BK was discharged in 2010. I'm working on cleaning out old totes and paperwork so I might get to that one. If anything to remind myself where I came from. So how long do you keep it for and are we required to keep it for a certain amount of time?
I scanned and saved all of my paperwork as PDF's
I got rid of all mine right after my ch13 discharge. I ended up needing a lot of it later on when I started the mortgage process so I downloaded everything from PACER and saved the pdf's.

That. ^
I destroyed all mine... if I need them again I'll get them off PACER.
I just opened the box, took a look them closed it. I'll go through that stuff another day. Most of it is probably just excess paperwork that was needed for the case but there is only a few pieces of paper that are important. I have my discharge tucked away in a fireproof safe.
I have my original discharge in my safe and the rest is scanned and downloaded.
Keeping everything...forever....lol; When I can bear to look at it again, I will scan and save...
