How much is my current Chapter 7 really effecting my score now?

Hello all! I have a Chapter 7 from 10/05 that should be falling off this year??? Anyway I was curious on if I will even see a boost in my score from this? Or with it being 9+ years old is it not really being computed anymore?

Are you familiar with the concept of bucketing?  If not, do a little reading on FICO and bucketing.

When the BK falls off, you will be rebucketed.  Your scores should jump nicely.  I can't wait for mine to fall off, but I have ~ 8 years to go.

I saw significant score changes.   My BK fell off TU by this point:

Today, it fell of EQ:

In my case, I saw significant score boosts across the three CRAs.

Very nice!! I am happy with it falling off in general but a little score boost would be great too!! Took me 9 years past my BK to finally work on my credit but hey I am doing it now haha.

Once you r re-bucket end it will really depend on how u compare to others in the new group. U should be fine if u have Reestablished since D/C.
