Hurray BK7 Dropped off Experian!!!!

Filed BK7 Oct 2003 just dropped off Experian .....drum roll......score went from 731 to 732 on My Fico (Experian). I have 2 30 day lates > 1 year old and 1% Credit Card utilization. Just a data point for anyone interested.

Other than the two 30 day lates, you have likely been "rebucketed". Hence you are not likely to see a score gain and are probably lucky not to see a drop. In brief, my best guess is you are now been compared to similar profiles with no BKs, and your lates are pretty new, depressing your score even further. If you can GW....you will likely see a 50pt gain. Congrats on the BK dropping off.

Yeah I checked a few days ago and my bk13 from Oct 2006 has fallen off from Experian. Now I'm waiting for Mr. Equifax the last one showing to follow suit! My fako score didn't change. Oh well.

You only get the big score pop if you hace 100% perfect credit since the BK... because it's literally the last thing that's bad on your report.  When it falls off, you're golden.  In this case, there are other negs holding the OP back.  732 isn't shabby, though.

 

remember, w/ baddies, 1+1 != 2... one matters a ton, the next matter much less.

Current Scores as of Late January 2016 All 700+. Last CR pull from a lender(housing) was mid-score 749.

Congrats to you!  First step in beginning your clean-slate run.  Like you, I recently had BK drop off my EX & EQ reports for an average of 60 pt. gain.  Just need to get that TU off.
