3 cards to optimize, more than that does not directly help. It will depend on AAoA and percentage of on time payments.
Thanks, and I am impressed by your high FICO scores 3 years post Chapter 7.

Thanks! I am lucky because all of my IIBK accounts have aged off
-just applied for a Chase Sapphire preferred via internet. my girlfriend tried it yesterday and got approved at once. I got a reply stating that they were going to think about it and that if I was approved a card would be in the mail later. Is this their way of rejecting an application, or should I wait before trying elsewhere?
2 years post bk for chase is a bit early. I would suggest checking out Capital One or Barclays. They are some of the easier banks to get in with post bk.
OP with a credit score like yours, you would qualify for cards like Discover It, Capital One Venture & Qucksilver, and Barclaycards (Like Apple Rewards & Rewards) with no problem imo. If I got them with the scores I have 1 year post-bk, I'm sure you would get them with even more success.

Lucky dog.
OP my 680 scores are what happens when the IIBK accounts are still reporting after 6+ years.

I know my case is not as close as yours, but i applied for CSP on May 28th 2015 (BK D/C 10/2010) and got denied. Called the next day to recon and denied, called again at the end of the day and approved for $5K. Hopefully you get a nice person because that counts a lot. With your history on home loans paid off, i dont see a problem getting approved if you really state your case and why you will be a good candidate for the card.
Don't give up, try again!!
Good luck!

Is that what it is? LOL
I reconned in January and was denied for too many INQs... (I had just bought a car) The rep was like "Ok, you also filed Ch 13."
Yeah... in 2009. Are you serious?
I requested a $500 Freedom... nope... denied. I have $60k+ in unsecured credit with a solid payment history over the last 1-2 years since discharge and was denied for a $500 Freedom.
I guess my rep wasn't a nice one.

LOL i guess not...yesterday was my 3rd recon in 15 days for the freedom and was a big no. Rep said they want to monitor my CSP and see how i do before i can get the freedom...not even a $300 CL and with almost 5 yrs old BK.
