I was under the impression that judgements could not be filed under BK cases? When I pulled my 3 credit reports today my judgement is only showing on TU and its showing paid under BK?? Can someone tell me if this is right? I thought judgements couldnt be filed under BK? My lawyer even told me that. I also have 2 student loans showing filed in my BK.

MaryJane,
I had 6 judgements when I filed and was being garnished. All show as satisfied 0 balance after I filed. Waiting until one year from discharge to file motion to vacate and get them removed. They show on TU and EQ but not on my EX report.

Mine doesnt show a 0 balance. Just shows included in bankruptsy and the date paid. Trying to figure out how to have it vacated. Dont want to pay a lawyer to do that for me. It isnt showing on my other two agencies. I cant dispute it in TU cause I already have several things I am disputing and im waiting on TU to decide on them first before I can open another case.

I believe you have to get them removed by the court where they were filed on. Not sure where you are but where I am from I am legally able to file a motion to vacate the judgements 1 year after my bk was discharged. Then they can be removed from my reports.
I doubled check my reports and they in fact say satisfied with 0 balance as well as iib. Check your discharge report, it should say if your judgement was included.
Just wait on some of the other myficoer's advice.

You will need to check if your state has something similar...
