Just filed a ch 7. can be added as an au now?

[ Edited ]

my live-in partner just filed a chapter 7 on 18th. I took him off from being an AU on my credit cards that we've been using for the joint household stuff. I guess it will be another 3-4 months before his bankruptcy filing is discharged.  Can I add him back onto some of my credit cards for  household stuff / rebuilding his credit now or should we wait for the chapter 7 to be discharged?

I would probably wait until the bk is discharged. The cra might list the credit card as iib by error.

Thank you all! One caveat is I have a chase business card that does not report to personal credit report. Can I add him for an employee card? I don't think it will show up on his report but have no firsthand experience.
