After spending 2014 in the garden I decided to app for the Nordstrom card and was approved for $2500 and the Discover IT and was approved for $1500. Both cards have extremely positive reviews and the Nordstrom is easily PCed to a Sig Visa while retaining history after 6-12 months.
I'm pumped! These are my first new CC accounts in a year! Back to the garden I go!
Well, not quite!
Since I seem to be on a roll I decided to see if I could get a CLI on my my Citi Best Buy card. My request was approved from $1800 to $3500! Then I was thinking it was time for a CLI on one of my CapOne cards, so I put in the request and got a CLI from $2000 to $4000!
Then, since I had success with Discover earlier I decided to apply for another card that I have never had... Amex. The members here at MyFico said that the Delta Gold was the easiest card to get, so I applied and was approved for $5000!
Then I decided to go for Barclay Sallie Mae... since I've had the Barclay Apple for 16 months now and it's pretty worthless. I was approved!!!! $4500! I then took my $2200 Apple card and moved the CL over to the Sallie Mae... and closed the Apple. Sallie Mae is now $6700!
What a holiday weekend!
New accounts:
Nordstrom $2500
Discover IT $1500
AmEx Delta Gold $5000
Barclay Sallie Mae $4500 then closed Apple card and transferred $2200 CL to Sallie Mae for total $6700
CLIs:
Best Buy Citi increased from $1800 to $3500
Capital One QS increased from $2000 to $4000
I was 6 for 6... NO DENIALS!
NOW I'm going back to the garden! I've been focused on my rebuild and doing positive things and it has paid off!
2015 is looking bright!
Congrats! You have done an outstanding job!

Thanks! It's a great feeling! Lot of effort and more importantly patience!
The Best Buy Citi CLI was an EQ pull... even though I had no INQs for the entire year I gardened these 2 INQs from this spree have dropped me from 700 to 698. FICO is so unforgiving!! LOL
Thanks for sharing your success. Congrats on some really good work.

Thanks... after my spree last week I closed 3 of my 4 Synchrony cards (76, Chevon, Walmart) and have my profile where I want it. My EQ score dipped a few points but that's to be expected with new accounts. My TU went up however.
Nothing else I need to do so now I'm gardening for 2015 like I did in 2014.
It's so easy.
Great news!! Sorry I missed it originally lol. I haven't been online as much because of holidays!!! This should be a pick me up for all of those trying to get there too!!! like me!!!!!! Motivation! Thanks!
