This is more of a curious question than anything.
So I've spent 1 inquiry. One approval (in siggy). It hit Experian, which had only 1 other inquiry in the last 14 months.
I'm wanting to apply for a QS, and know it will hit all three. My average score is 560.
I'm wondering if it would be worth taking a triple hit to see if I'm blacklisted, if I'm denied (fairly certain Capital One knows I'm d/c now) - or should I wait?
Prequal gives me nothing. Which doesn't deter me.
Advice?

They won't pull your credit if you're blacklisted.
Make sure you app for the QS1. It does not hurt to try, they will not HP if you are blacklisted.
I indeed applied for the QS1.
Got the 7-10 day message. Called in, they asked me to fax DL and SS Card. Did it.
Now we wait. The automated status line isn't a status line anymore.

That is a good sign! Usually they wont make you jump through hoops for a decline Good luck
@Scupra - I hope you are right.
Kohls (backed by Cap1) just approved me. So I hope that's a good sign...

For what it's worth, I've never seen verification result in a decline
While I'm blacklisted from Capital One I was easily able to get a Kohl's card. I don't think Cap1 has any authority over those cards.
