Then reaffirmation makes sense even if it doesn't report, hopefully it will. DaveInAZ made a good point, try to see if they can put a clause in the reaffirmation where they will report.

Do not rely on trade in value there is plenty of ways to make it look like you are giving someone more for their car than you actually are
