Re: My rebuild story :)

I am pretty much going to give up trying...Now that I have the Venture card, the QS1 is going in the SD.  I did notice today they have the Chip on the card now for the pic online (on my account page)  I am going to quite asking for CLI on that....

Smiley Happy I am the opposite haha I like the cash back more on the Quicksilver. The Venture was not a thought out app and mainly for the big starting limit. Live and learn haha

Re: My rebuild story :)

I agree with you there.  I honestly wanted the bigger limit to show Chase and Discover and Barclays I can handle it.  I didn't really need it, but it will come in handy with trying to get points/miles that can be used for "cash back" or for hotels and airlines.  Mainly hotels for my fam.  Love the sight of Signature on the back...haaa ok, im weird..lol

Re: My rebuild story :)

Whoa.. this thread is just so useful. I too, am going down this road... filed in 9/14 and am learning from many post filing mistakes. too many inquires and such, but no financing mistakes such as a new auto loan/housing and stuff... thanks for all the input! keeping my balances under 10%, building limits.

Re: My rebuild story :)

LMBO.....Cap 1 EO came through again!!  Asked on Friday if they would match my Venture limit, which is 5K.....and logged into my account today and boom!!  from 3,300 to now 5K on both Venture and QS1!!  I actually am shocked they raised it.

Re: My rebuild story :)

Lately just been in the garden letting some inquiries age off. Getting rid of the itch is pretty hard so I started to tackle all of my IIBK accounts that were set to fall off in the next couple months.

TU: Requested for early deletion and they deleted all remaining IIBK accounts! All clean besides BK now.

EQ: Requested early deletion and they did as well. All clean besides BK now

EX: Requested early deletion and they removed all but one which led to me finding out they had the wrong DoFD! It took me about two weeks but I am happy to say I just got off the phone with EX and they have fixed the DoFD and the account will now fall off in June! All clean in 2 months Smiley Very Happy

Wife and I are thinking about submitting a mortgage app to see where we stand at this point. Mortgage was my main goal and is why I finally filed BK so I am feeling pretty good right now.
