My recent Barclay Strategy for Auto CLi month-by-month, after a BK 7

Hello, I wanted to contribute my recent experience with Barclay, in hopes of it possibly helping others.

Barclay appoved me Jan 2015, instantly on their site...3 mos after my bk 7 discharge.

I had a secured NFCU 800 limit card, which I opened week of my discharge on 9-14.  And a small car loan of 6k, which I opened May 2014, and decided to pay.

scores 600 - 610

Basically this is my spending and payment pattern.  I recently tried to recon, and was denied for any credit limit increase...the rep asked why I went BK, it was basically my house.

starting limit 500
2-15 new account
3-15 charged 394  paid 30
4-15 charged 297  paid 167
5-15 Charged 0    Paid 100
6-15 Charged 530  paid 550

Sometime in the first week of July, I logged and noticed am increase from 500 to 1500 for credit limit.

7-15 Charged 1741  paid 1802
8-15 Charged 1907  paid 1619
9-15 Charged 1183  paid 1788

I'm going to guess, another increase will happen in 6 months, if I keep using it as such?

None of us work for Barclay's or can tell you for sure, but you are showing consistent usage and payment history which to me is as good a way as any to attempt to get a CLI.
