NFCU Member & Filing BK

Anyone have any experience with being a member of NFCU and then filing bankruptcy? I do not owe them any money, but I have a checking/savings account with them.

I don't care if they temporarily freeze my money. But I would like to know if they will keep me as a member or if I should close my account before filing BK and then just re-open again after discharge.

Thanks for any information.

As long as you don't owe any debt to them you should be ok. YMMV

Thanks. I'm hoping so. I don't owe them any debt or money and have a positive checking/savings account.
