NFCU question

I have been reading about how amazing NFCU is for rebuilding, my first marriage in the 90's was to a navy guy and we banked with NFCU, after divorce I did not keep accounts and I am no longer married to a military member. Does anyone know if I might be able to get back in as a former member with no current military affiliation? I would probably wait until discharge to even ask unless it is ok to ask now, I just filed 5/3 and have 341 hearing 6/10. Thanks!!

Re: NFCU question

I would call and ask. There is no harm in asking now

Re: NFCU question

no harm in asking, but Im going to say no, probably not. They are super strict on membership.

I read a post that later down the road, a posters membership and all accounts got closed, after they "dug a little deeper", to make sure the poster could be a member.

Re: NFCU question

Hi Flowergirl! My mom and dad divorced when I was young and she was able to get on with NFCU so there is hope I would ask them and see what happens.
