Need help ASAP!!

I work at a bank, I want to file my bankruptcy.. Will I get fired for doing this?

I'm so unsure now after seeing it could make me lose my job

Does your bank regularly conduct credit checks on its employees?  Was it a condition of employment?

Federal law protects people from being fired for filing for Ch. 7 Bankruptcy, however, if you are employed in an "At-Will" state, then theoretically your bank could terminate your employement for any reason or no reason.

I worked (and currently still do) for a bank and filled BK CH 7 and I was able to keep my job. I was even given a job offer to another financial institution with the BK on my record. In my opinion if you are good at what you do they will not fire you over the BK.
