I had my chapter 7 bk discharged as of June 2013 and I am in the process of rebuilding. I started off with a captiol one secured card at 250. Since then I have been able to get another cap one regular card, a first premier and a walmart card. Eventually I would like to get a vehicle loan and possibly a house. But, this is way down the road, I am in no hurry right now and my boyfriend and i live together, work together and car pool so that handles that chunk of the budget. I have learned so much from getting divorced and having to go through all the hardships financially. Its like being in financial jail, you feel like a crappy person if you have no credit- it seems everything is litterally based on your credit, even what kind of person you are. I am just so happy to be on my way to getting back to normal...
