Open collection?

Hi all! Looking for some advice. On my wife's transunion report, it shows she has one open collection and in the remarks it says Ch. 7 bankruptcy. We've been discharged since October. I thought collections should be closed. Am I wrong? Should I dispute this? Thanks in advance!

From my understanding and based upon my own CR at this venture, I believe the notations at the bottom of the entries are irrelevant to the validity of the entry. I believe that the 'status' must be closed, zero balance and IIB. I'd certainly dispute that myself.

Collections should go away. Period.

Should be closed, zero, iib. I had 2 like this and it took me to dispute it 2 times before it was cleaned up. Even then Transunion deleted them completely (works for me).
