Payment Plan in Chapter 13

My spouse and I were just discussing us about to file Ch 13 and the question came up if we can set up auto pay for the bk payment.

Can we set up auto pay or is the payment take out of our paychecks? If the paycheck, do they just take 50% out if both?

I'm not sure I like that option. I would hate for the chatty HR director to know about my personal issue.

They will take the payment out directly from one of your paychecks.  Don't worry about that chatty HR person.....they sent my personal financial information to my ex-wife.  Nothing like adding insult to humiliation.

I made my payment directly to the trustee.  I mailed a money order every month.

I asked and was granted permission by the court to do that because I didn't want my employer knowing my personal business with a payroll deduction.
