Question about BK7 reporting

I have an account that was included in my BK7.  It is now reporting "Paid in full, was a charge off"  Should it report as included in bankruptcy?

If it matters it looks like it is reporting that it was paid  6 days before we filed.

OR, is there even a difference in "Paid in full and Charged off"?

Equifax 3/29/2013 - 649, 4/1/2014 - 651, 4/14/2014 - 662, 4/16/2014 - 655
Transunion 3/29/2014 - 648, 4/29/2014 - 650, 5/1/2014 - 653, 6/10/2014 - 662 (barclay/discover), (4/16/2014 - 658 - lender pull)
Experian 4/1/2014 - 653, 4/14/2014 - 669
What in my wallet? Secured Card $550, Barclaycard Reward $3100, Discover IT $1300, Kohl's $400, Navy Federal cashReward $2500, Navy Federal $17800 for a car 2.79% for 72 months.

If it was IIB, it should report IIB.

Re: Question about BK7 reporting

I have several accounts that show on my credit reports like this also. My bankruptcy discharged 2/14/14 and I disputed them but the companies insist they are reporting correctly. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Re: Question about BK7 reporting

I did have one of the agency's that reported that way when i disputed it they came back and made no change, checking back now it looks like they changed the status.  I guess I will dispute the other ones.

I agree. The way that I'm thinking of this reporting issue is that, if reported as having been charged off, then the debt is still owed. Also, if the debt is being reported as having been paid in full without the debtor actually having paid it, then the reporting is inaccurate. Either way, I'd consult a bankruptcy attorney if that was mine.

Interestingly, I noticed that my bankruptcy attorney has been mailing flyers to me, every other month, asking to be contacted if anything on my credit report reports inaccurately in any way. There must be money in it for the attorneys.

Re: Question about BK7 reporting

lucky...

Mine dropped me like a hot potato after things finished.  Almost every question I asked was "We dont deal with that."  "That is not within the scope of what we do."  Then they just flat out stopped responding...

Good riddens to them...

Re: Question about BK7 reporting

Holy fast turnaround on my reporting errors...

So I reported that the account was included in bankruptcy and transunion came back and said thre was an up date but...

It still lists Account paid in Full; was a Charge-off in the Account status and the Pays section...
