While in chapter 13 bankruptcy, I was pre approved for an FHA loan , we were still making payments on our home but not our full monthly amnt because of the bankruptcy. I ended up on CAIVRS because our laon defaulted. We sold our home, and the loan was paid off. We recieved a letter from the state bankruptcy trustee saying we can buy a new home , we also received a letter from CAIVRS saying the loan is not in default. I called HUD and was told Im not on the CAIVRS list anymore, would we be approved for a new FHA loan after being removed from CAIVRS?
