Saving during chapter 13 bankruptcy

Hello,

My mother filed for Chapter 13 earlier this year and is on her payment plan now. She was considering renting out her hosue and moving into a small apartment which would save her around $400 a month. Would she be able to put away the extra $400 a month or would she have to notify the trustee and have her repayment plan adjusted. I have been searching high and low for an answer but have struggled to find one. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
