Score Jump

Today I had several IIbk's fall off early from my transunion report.  I Got an alert my score jumped up 65 points from 612 to 677.  I was discharged 1/27/2015,  I know score isn't everything but its nice to see positve things happening,

Re: Score Jump

I wish I knew why lenders delete accounts of the reports early. I, like you, had several delete the account completely after discharge.

Helped my score a little bit, for sure.

Consider it a windfall.

Just curious, who was it? For me, it was Capital One/Kohls and One Main Financial...

Re: Score Jump

Hsbc, bank of America and 5 others.  They weren't suppose to come off until October of this year.

Re: Score Jump

Congrats!!!!! I had a number of IIBK accounts removed after I filed Chapter 7 BK as well. I can't recall all the accounts, but American Express and HSBC were definitely two of them. I'm sketchy on the other accounts as I had approximately 25 credit cards with over $200K in credit limits at one point. Approximately 10 of these accounts were included in my discharge while the others were closed by the credit grantor. Many of the IIBK accounts and closed paid as agreed accounts were removed after filing. Not sure why, but it works for me. A number of inquiries were also removed early from my TU credit report as well.

Re: Score Jump

Don't know if my case was a rare one, but a lot of my accounts got completely deleted from all 3 reports right after I filed bk7.car loans from Wells Fargo and Santander that I included and surrendered. Credit cards from first premier, continental, Firestone charge and matco tools charge. All completely deleted a month after I filed. Never updated to IIB. just deleted. I didn't ask for it to be done
