I just had my trustee meeting and should be discharged in a few weeks. My house was included in BK. I don't know if I'll reaffirm yet. If I don't reafirm, how does it work if I want to sell my house. The mortgage is with Bank of America. As I understand it, my BK put my mortgage in default, even though I'm current on payments and have never been late. Are there extra issues to deal with to sell your own home when it's included in BK but you continue to live in it and pay the mortgage? Am I free to sell it? Will I face extra issues in trying to sell and closing? Thank you.
