Depends if you qualify for 7. There is a means test that dictates whether you will be allowed to go 7, or be required to file 13. If you have income and ability to make some restitution, the court will require you to go 13.
All BK's should include all debt. In a 7, you might be able to "re-affirm" certain debts, but this must be approved by the trustee and agreed to by the lender.

I agree with you paying it off. There is a very real possibility that they may not find out. I have a dress barn and chadwick account that are still open even though I filed. they were not IIB so I guess they dont care.
