Sigh

i just messed up.   I applied for a card with Amex and I must not have gotten the memo that they don't give cards to anyone with a bankruptcy for any reason.  I even tried to call in and ask if they could give me consideration since my bankruptcy had nothing to do whatsoever with credit card use, and the woman just kept reading her script.  It didn't help they pulled from Experian, which is my worst score.

i don't have many hard pulls for this year,  still, shouldn't have wasted one thinking I could convince someone to give me a card.  I don't know how all the other bankruptcy people have so many cards!  Oh well.

Re: Sigh

It could be worse. At least now you (and everyone whe reads this post) will know. Tough to use the pull, but it will be ok in the long run. Good luck!

Re: Sigh

Yeah, thanks.....  I guess I was encouraged because I knew I didn't have too many pulls right now, and PayPal had raised my limit and I successfully upgraded my Capital One to cash back.   I got overzealous!
