The agony of waiting...how long did it take to get your discharge?

Well the 60 days have come and gone.  With tomorrow being a holiday I have no doubt I won't get the discharge tomorrow either.  Today is day 63.  So how long after your 60 day period did it take to get your discharge?

There is no formula. Timeframes vary for each case.

My court region only processed all eligible discharge orders on the 18th (or business day prior) every month so it can definitely vary by court.

I called the clerk and she had it done for me that day because I was so nice.

My 341 hearing was May 13th and according to my Atty my objection date is July 14th. I was told that the bankruptcy court in TN can run up to a month behind. So, I may not see discharge papers till sometime in August. It's a bummer. Not sure what state you are in but try calling your local bankruptcy court and they may be able to tell you. Good luck ! I am anxiously awaiting discharge too !!

Mine took six months.

I sent my final Ch 13 payment on 2/13/13 and got my discharge on 5/7/13.

My fiance's took about two months after his 341 meeting.

MINE TOOK FROM 4/7/14 MEETING WITH CREDITORS UNTIL 7/12 RECE EMAIL FROM MYFICO THAT BANKRUPTCY NOW REPORTING DISCHARGED. I HAVE YET TO RECEIVE MY NOTICE YET THO.

Hello, I had my 341 meeting on 05/14/14... My Chapter 7 was discharged 07/08/14
