I wouldnt worry about it just yet. So many other threads where people go through the same thing and end up getting approved. If you dont get approved I would say take the secured now that way you dont have a HP for nothing, and in one year it will graduate as long as you werent late 
After a long hold, rep told me that it would be another 24 hrs!! Waiting patiently to see what happens..
UPDATE #2... Logged into my account this morning. Was approved for 500.00 vica signature cash rewards card!
Will garden with this one and the other 2 for now and maybe step out of the garden for a cli in June 2013. Will see how it goes from here. Off to the garden I go. No more apping, dont fair well with denials!!
