WAITING ON DISCHARGE PAPERS

I need help.  I filed BK on 2/10/2010.  My chapter 13 was 5 years or 60 months.  I am so ready for this prison to be over.  My wages were released in feb 2015 but everytime I ask about when the actual discharge will take place I get lots of confusion from my paralegal at my attorneys office.   She is now saying that my official something or orther was in July 2010.  I still calculate 60 months at July of 2015.  Can someone please give me a clue as to why it is taking so long to get these papers.

I need a car bad...  I have been to several car lots and they all say that I must wait on the discharge papers and that the loan will go thru but not without the papers.  I am confused on why this is taking so long.

It may be time to go above the paralegal, directly to your attorney.  You paid them to provide assistance during the entire BK process, that process isn't complete until you are discharged and the case is closed.

i filed 2/26/10.... so we are about on the same timeline although based on the information I have found in this forum and another one I am on, every court operates at a different speed.  That being said I am still awaiting discharge as well.  my wage was rescinded on 3/30. Received the check for my overpayments around 5/20. The trustees audit was filed with the court on 6/8 and the entry into discharge on 6/9, objections are due 6/23..... so I SHOULD be discharged by July 1st by my estimations.  MY court system seems to take forever.  I know there is a girl in Cali that had her discharge within 30 days of her last payment, but that seems extremely fast.  Have you signed up and looked at your case on pacer.gov or the NDC?

My discharge came 12 days after the final date of creditor objections (Day 72 following the 341 meeting) in CH7. Courts are slow and it all depends on the volume of cases in your particular district. My district has had 1,600+ CH7 filings alone this year. Not sure how much this will relate to your 13 filing but I hope it helps..

I was finally discharged today. You should be soon too. Have you checked pacer to see if the trustees final report has been posted? Or anything else?

I checked pacer a couple of days ago. No new info since wage release in feb. I am very discouraged.

I just checked pacer again and my plan was confirmed on 7-1-2010.  Still no updates since 3-22-2015 when my wages were released.  What is the longest that the discharge will potential be held.  I am anxious to get a discharge.
