Waiting for discharge papers and case to close

My case was discharged on Tuesday and I received notice from my lawyers office today that I would receive my final decree once the case is closed. So I am wondering am I done now how long does it take to close the case... Am I really discharged.  Just looking for a little explanation.

You will receive the formal discharge papers in the mail. The judge has to sign it.
