Re: Wal Mart Card post bankruptcy

Did you burn WFNNB in your bankruptcy? If so, which one and did you get the same card again?

Re: Wal Mart Card post bankruptcy

Yes, thread is a year old. But WFNNB/Comenity Bank was the old lender on Walmart store cards. Walmart changed to Synchrony (GE) around 10/2012. I got a Walmart card 2/2013, just over 2 years post Ch.7 discharge, even though I burned GE on several accounts. WM periodically has an in store promo of a $20 account credit for opening a new account, that's when I took the bait & risked a hard pull inquiry.

One good thing about Comenity bank, they're the lender on BillMeLater, now PayPal credit. I had a $0 balance & didn't include them in my filing and the account survived my BK.
