Well, 45 months after filing for CH7....

....my last derogatory/IIB-tradeline fell off my reports and I'm quite happy to see:

Equifax: 686

Experian: 720

TransUnion: 724

...and that is with a 35% revolving credit-ratio - so there is still room for improvement.

I re-established credit basically from day 1 on - and it paid off. You can do the same!Smiley Wink

Could you please explain a bit. The IIB TL fell off? I thought they were on for the entire 7 years the BK is on the CR?

Re: Well, 45 months after filing for CH7....

if the DoFD was several years prior to the actual filing, then it is possible for the TLs to fall off prior to the seven years...

The public record will remain - but it is possible for the TLs to be gone sooner.

BK Discharge 2/11/14

Currently in the garden.

That makes sense. Most of our derogs are from right before our BK in 2011. Guess I need to be patient!

Yes, that's exactly what happened in my case.

I also had a judgment on my report that would have stayed on file until December but I was able to get it vacated due to my bankruptcy - so alll that remains is the BK itself.

Re: Well, 45 months after filing for CH7....

Lucky you! I'm 60 months this month and my earliest drop off is Dec '15. Of course, AMEX deleted their account shortly after BK. Not sure why.
