I was discharged Dec 2013. I have Discover IT, Barclays Apple, and Capitol One. In the past 2 months just got auto bumped for the Discover to $9,000, and Barclays to $7500 automaticially. Had to ask for an increase on the Capitol one this month to $5000. I don't have loans. Havent applied for anything in over a year. I only burned Amex in my BK no other card. Anyone have any ideas on some new cards to go after? Score is 677

Perfect question Don't apply for a card you won't benefit from. What is your spend on and what type of rewards are you looking for?

I am looking for the highest limit of course! I travel 6 months a year so no foreign transaction fees would be a plus. I applied for the Capone quicksilver card today and was approved not sure the limit.

You might want to try the Cap1 Venture as well. They are known to give high limits on approval for it. Good luck!

So I can try for 2 cap 1 cards in 1 day? I already have the platinum for 2 yrs and was just accepted today for the silver

You can try a credit union -- either if you're a member already or see if you can join one. They are great! I actually got a $5000 credit line from NFCU yesterday (cashRewards credit card) and a CLOC .. only asked for minimum $500 and was approved.

I had a few other minor CLIs as well, $10k on one venture to $11k and a $1200 to $2000 bump on my Amazon card. I'll take it!

At this point, I'm just growing my credit profile. I don't carry balances on them and I need to start thinking about buying a candy bar on one or two of them and paying them off to keep them active o_O
